Day 5: Sunday on Silkeborgvej
In honor of Sunday: a quick shot of Åbyhøj Kirke, on Silkeborgvej. Silkeborgvej is the only street I really know in Århus. It takes me to several grocery stores and near downtown. And for that, I am thankful. Sometimes I stray from her loyal lanes, only to be punished for my betrayal with deserved disorientation.
As you can see from the proud Danish flag, the wind was blowing one million miles per hour today. The runner is advancing at a remarkable pace, while the bikers are fighting for every forward inch. Yep. I'm American. And yep, the metric system puzzles me.
