Day 56 & 57: Turkey Nurse

A picture a day does not mix well with holidays.
But I do.
I had a fabulous Thanksgiving.
I've been a little Danish-Home Sick, and my hosts sensed it.
To really take me back, we enjoyed glögg before our turkey feast.
(They are of a slightly different breed than my Dane)

I added a few photos of my drive home from Brookings. Listening to country music with my brother. Very American.  I couldn't help but take a photo (lower) of my favorite trees. Once the muse of a very ambitious art project--I wavered but still feel a twinge of regret mixed with an ounce creative revival as we pass.  Unfortunately, I then drive through Sioux Falls and am intellectually comatose by billboards and Wal-marts.

We finally got some cold weather, even a few flakes, after the freakishly warm Fall.

BUT NOW. I am playing nurse. Though its not so much play, wiping post-opt blood from my brother's mouth. No worries, I recognize my 'picture a day' responsiblities and I take them very seriously. And today is technically day 58--so wait for it. . .
