Day 169 & 170 & 173: Then and Then

While many of you shot sparkling, snapping, swirling, cracking or zapping celebrations into the air, I enjoyed a quiet walk in Miller, SD. A fuzzy little town with around ?1500? free ranging folks.

Living in extremes has distorted life dreams. I longed for the City. I got it. Hyderabad with over 8 million; Seoul with more than 10 million; and even got cozy with the good ol' chap, Portland, a couple million (with those suburbs...)

How could I ever go back? or rather "Will you ever come back...for good?" Asks mommy.
I think I could. Why? Cuz it just feels good.

(1) Miller's "old" water tower. New water tower lies below, waiting patiently to be assembled.
(2) A generous, and sleepy American Holiday Miller Street.

And What did I do in 2009 for the 4th of July?

Spent it in Korea with a bunch of Danes. If you can't tell, in the foreground, a corndog, fried strategically with bits of french fry, stands proudly.

Happy Late 4th.
