Day 192: The Österlen Tour

As an international student, various mass group invitations find their way to me. I think I'm forgetting that I'll be here for two years, because so far, I can't refuse an offer. The Österlen Tour consisted of 4 jam packed tour buses. Jam packed with foreign students. I cringed and the cringes of the unsuspecting families, previously enjoying a nice walk at the harbor--UNTIL. Until the troops were released. Swarms of wandering, gabbing & globoozelating (globoozelating---A Jacquelyn Original term, meaning: When large packs of students are released they, somewhat bacterially, ooze into smaller sub groups (globs of 3-6), without sacrificing the atmosphere or path of the bigger glob (the entirety of the 150+ students))
The Harbor at Simrishamn
Remember the Danish pendant flags? Here too! Well except, they're Swedish pendants. But I bet you knew what I meant.

The maybe 1,400 year old Ales Stenar. Sweden's largest preserved 'ship setting'. Maybe containing graves; maybe placed to honor a crew lost to the sea. According to my International Student hand out.  More impressive was the scraggly ocean-side cliff, with hauntingly strong winds.  It was eerie even with hundreds of milling students.
