Day 248: It's Saturday.

I was beginning to feel guilty for missing Theme Week: day 7 of 8, until I realized that it's not really Sunday, for 3 reasons:

1. It is very dark, very early here which flusters the concept of days.

2. Rule of Holiday: It is Thanksgiving weekend, so all lag is forgiven.

3. The Postmodern excuse. (puke.) Sunday has yet to arrive. It is Saturday. I reject categories and do not blindly accept days.

With that, Theme Week Day 7: Lost & Found Lördag

I've noticed a strange but sweet Swedish phenomenon, or at least an In-Sweden phenomenon. The unofficial, but socially expected Lost & Found, which I like to call, Pick & Perch.

Bushes, benches, and fence posts are sprinkled with accidentally abandoned items--hats, gloves, helmets, umbrellas even credit cards--waiting patiently to be reclaimed. Smart. Now one mustn't wonder if their displaced articles were taken away or turned in. They must simply be route-conscious and retrace their steps.

Today's photo is from my recent escape from Skåne to Stockholm.
