Day 272: Do not feed the wild animals.

As Sunday nears, I'm hungry for transition. Aching for a move. Craving a change. We're taught self control--disciplined in abstinence, but is it ever okay to feed a wild animal--of possibly insatiable appetite?

In Montana, we concealed our food from bear's reach. They passed by and did not feed [on our site]. But if we returned tomorrow, feast exposed, they would surely eat.

I have a tenacious bear. Defying hibernation. An itching beast that does not wane. Shall I feed it? Or leave it to wander?
