Day 78: Today is yesterday...again.

Isn't this fun? I wonder how many 'days' have been lost through inconsistent posts, time changes, & double posts....and when they're lost--where do they go?

Well...I'm stranded at McDonalds, picking up a Taco John's wireless signal--surrounded by parents, spread too thin and crabby; kids screaming for their parents' attention; the smell of a beef-ish substance; and the beautiful view of parking lots, SUV's, and car dealerships...

But you know what?--me, the defender of unique culture, must respect the 'special' people we, Americans, have become. It's not that daddy's fault that he can't take public transportation (non-existent) and walking would be financially and physically dangerous (lack of health insurance to care for his provoked-by-cold weather illness, or twisted ankle from running across the 5 lane road, vehicle infested).  It's 'the system' and it's time I stop blaming that sweet daddy, who is making that sweet boy giggle that sweet little laugh by telling a sweet story of Christmas reindeer--and start blaming & working to change the source of the problem. So it is today, amidst McDonald's Christmas music that I quell my bitterness, redirect my efforts, & forgive.
