Day 33: Participation Ribbon
Halloween exists in Denmark. It's a mere glimmer, but it lives. I was grateful to see some Danes dressing up for the occasion, though never spotted one so dedicated as I was/am in spirit. Sadly, I wasn't excessively dedicated or decorated on the outside, to protect those innocent Danish eyes from a traumatic, American-style, disconcerting pun costume.
Today I present you the downtown spectacle of Brabrand. Front and center you see Let Køb, or Easy Buy. (tæt på din hverdag=close to your everyday?). The next store is Købmand, meaning Buy Man. Human or command, I'm not sure. And finally, the Frisør place is a hairdresser shop. And that's about it at 7pm in Brabrand, Denmark.
