Day 35: Phantom Letters
Another rainy day. Dreary enough to smash my motivation for Euro-hedgehog hunting. (I only shoot with a camera.) My super strong will did manage to carry me out of the warm apartment, into the rain, to the post box to deliver a few letters.
As I walked the short stroll home, I felt discomfort in my left hand. My right hand held my camera, but my left hand held nothing. It felt as though it was meant to hold--it had lost something and couldn't shake its impression. Obviously it did hold [letters]; and it did lose them. But I couldn't help feeling I had forgotten something somewhere. Disturbing.
I reached the apartment complex and decided this creepy corridor corresponded (in mood) with my phantom-letter syndrome.
It should be noted that I am extremely forgetful; therefore I'm naturally more sensitive to/traumatized by experiences associated with losing and/or forgetting things. Do not avoid the post box as a result of this tale.
